TCA Virtual Classroom: High-Tech Christian Education for the 21st Century.
A Beka Academy’s Virtual Classroom is a comprehensive virtual distance-learning program that provides over 6,500 hours of classroom instruction by Pensacola Christian Academy master teachers in a traditional classroom setting. A Beka Academy’s Virtual Classroom was developed, field tested, and introduced in 1985 utilizing the highly successful A Beka Book curriculum. As of the 2013–2014 school year, over 40,000 students were enrolled in A Beka Academy. This program allows your student to receive the same high-quality, academically challenging education program that is offered in the classrooms of Pensacola Christian Academy. Plus you have the advantage of TCA’s experienced onsite teachers (many of whom have been with the school for ten years or more) to monitor your child’s progress and alert you to any problems that might arise.
TCA Offers Fully Accredited High School Program through
A Beka Academy.
Students at TCA in grades 9 and higher have the option to enroll in the A Beka Academy Accredited Enrollment Plan that allows them to receive the benefits of a fully accredited transcript and diploma from A Beka Academy.
Your student
will remain enrolled in and pay tuition to TCA and will continue to receive A
Beka Academy video courses in our Virtual Classroom Program (see
above). We send your child’s graded work and progress reports to A Beka Academy.
A Beka Academy then validates your child’s individual work and
provides accredited services to your child. Please note: Temple Christian Academy as an educational institution is not accreditted by our participation in the A Beka Academy program. A Beka Academy only extends accreditation to the work of individual students enrolled in their program.
A Beka Academy is fully accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
